Ravan then wanted to take revenge therefore, he went to Panchvati in the form of a sage and asks Sita for alms.
Ram and Lakshman were not present at the place; upon witnessing the beauty of Sita he got attracted to her thus Ravan kidnapped Sita.
Then Ravan goes off to the Lanka asks Sita to come inside the palace and rest over there but she always refused, Ma Sita stayed under a tree she never looked at Ravan and Sita knew that she could very well burn him by seeing Ravan once altough Sita was sad due to the separation form her husband but was also patient and knew that Raghupati will come to rescue her.
Sita stayed under the tree in Ravan’s Lanka for one year but he was never able to harm Sita by even a speck and she wanted Ravana to be slaien by Maharanveer Raghav.
When Rama and Lakshman came back and saw Sita missing form their hut the get worried and Ram becomes extremely sad and depressed he cries out ‘O my loving Sita’ and starts shedding tears and became extremely downhearted but the he converts his tears of down heartedness into colossal amount of determination and makes a pledge to rescue his wife again.
Then Ram begins with his epic journey to the Lanka for rescuing Sita; when they were going towards Lanka Ram and Lakshman meet Sugriva who was the chief of the Vanar Sena, Sugriva introduces his strongest minister who is the incarnation of Shiva called Rudraveera Samudbhava or Hanuman.
Then Mahaveer Hanuman makes a pledge to Shri Ram that he will find Ma Sita by anyway and becomes the ardent devotee of Ram .
Then Raghuveer praises Hanuman to jump the huge sea to reach Lanka, Pingalaksh makes the epic powerful leap to cross the sea and reaches Lanka where he discovers Ma Sita sitting under a tree and was patiently waiting for her consort Ram.
Hanuman approaches to Ma Sita and says ‘O goddess Janaki I am the devotee of Raghuveer and I have successfully accomplished my mission of discovering you. Raghupati is becoming extremely depressed and impatient without you he is not even removing nor responding the mosquitos and insects biting him. He wakes up at night saying ‘’O my loving Janak-kumari please stop don’t go leaving me’’ but this dose not mean that he is becoming he is stubborn and determined to slay the one who has kidnapped you’.
Saying these words Hanuman assures Sita not to worry about anything as Maharanveer Raghav is full of rage for the one who has kidnapped her and then he comes back to Ram and tells him the discovery of Sita in Lanka and Rama became extremely contended and hugs Hanuman.
The Rama along with Sugriva and Hanuman starts to plan for heading to Lanka and how can they cross the humungous sea and they decide to build a bridge to cross the sea.
Raghuveer then worships ma Durga by doing Sandhi puja which is a ritual performed with 108 flowers of lotus therefore Rama asks Hanuman to bring 108 flowers of lotus to accomplish the Puja and Hanuman does this witnessing all this Ma Durga wanted to check and test how much devoted he was; so as soon as Ram started to offer 108 flowers one by one Ma Durga picked up one lotus from the heap, after Rama finds 1 flower missing and he knew that the worship will not be accomplished with 107 flowers as he was called ‘Kamal Nayan’ or the one who has eyes like the lotus so he thought to sacrifice his eye in place of the lotus and with this intention he to one arrow as he was about to take his eye out with the arrow ma Durga emerged and became pleased to see his devotion Ma durga as well as Sita.
Durga blessed him and also assured that victory will be over his side only.
Then Sugriva commands the Vanar Sena to build a bridge across the sea and they proceeded the same way as told to them by Hanuman, after the construction of the bridge was completed it was named ‘Ram Setu’.
Finally, Rama crosses the whole bridge with the Vanar Sena, Sugriva, Hanuman and his devoted brother Lakshman.
Then the epic war starts between Maharanveer Raghuveer and Lankapati Ravan and ultimately the tough war between them starts and ultimately Raghav gains victory over Ravan and his demonic army.
Then he goes off to rescue his divine consort Sita, upon seeing Ram she falls upon his feet and starts shedding the tears of joy, then Rama says ‘O dear I was almost like half dead because of your absence, now I am extremely contended to again become one with you’ then they return from Lanka and Ram, Lakshman and Sita worship Shiva in a very auspicious place now known as ‘Rameshwaram’.
Then ma Sita does ‘Agni Pravesh’ or enters fire by her own choice to express her love towards Ram and to show her divinity and Rama said her many times not to do this but she insisted for doing Agni Pravesh.
Rama knew that Agni Dev (Fire god) won’t be able to touch Sita due to her infinite amount of divinity when Sita entered the fire Agni Dev surrendered unto her feet.
Rama along with Lakshman, Sita and Hanuman return to Ayodhya rule their kingdom for 10,000 years happily also called the ‘Ram Rajya’ Rama is known as the best king and during his rule no one is poor, unhappy there are no crimes (This is the original end written in texts of Ramayana by Tulsidas and Valmiki).
There is a huge misconception linked with Ramayana is the ‘Uttar Kand’ which says that Rama sent Sita back to the woods again when people raised questions about her divinity then she spends her life in the forest and then enters the Pataal.
But how come a Maryada Purushottam leave his wife back to the woods without whom he was almost half dead and depressed?
The answer is he did not do this at all, the two forms of Ramyana which is composed by Tulsidas in poetic format and Maharishi Valmiki in form of Katha doesn’t contain the Uttar Kand and it is added by other people several years later and the Uttar Kand is not original.
People never rebelled against Rama and Sita because everyone knew they were divine and were fully devoted upon them.
Rama is a perfect king and is the soul of Hanuman Ji.
Therefore this is the great saga of our Maryada Purushottam Ram.
