ओम नमो भगवते वासुदेवाय नमः
Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya Namaha
Vishnu descended himself to this earth in the form of Krishna in Dwapar Yug to Slay Adharma and make Dharma rise.
Everything about Krishna is enigmatic therefore it makes him hard to understand for most of the people, he is unpredictable and no one in this whole get parallel to him in knowledge, wisdom, strength, thinking, beauty and personality.
And he is also a great deceiver as when Bhishma was lying above the bed of arrows in the Kurukshetra which had peirced his body, all the warriors who were full of grief came to meet him; however Bhishma was pleased to see them all upon seeing krishna he became extremely contended and by compressing the exuberant pain he was suffering with a calm smile he says to Krishna,’ O broad chested Madhava before my demise can you clarify some of my queries’?
Krishna says ‘Yes grandfather why not’.
Bhishma then says ‘O Janardana Mahabahu (the one who has mighty arms) you are the one who posses infinite amount of strength you are incarnation of Vishnu. You are god aren’t you?’
With an exuberant enigmatic simle he replies back ‘ No grandfather I am not a god I am just an ordinary human being’.
In such excruciating and painful situation Bhishma started laughing aloud and said ‘ Krishna I very well know that you are Narayan stop decieving me’ and kept laughing.
Krishna’s whole epic saga starts from his birth in a jail where the cruel Maternal Uncle of Krishna named ‘Kansa’ kept his parents Devaki and Vasudeva imprisoned; Kansa was told by fortune tellers that the 8th child of Devaki will bring disaster and an end to his life listening to this Kansa puts both of them in Jail and each time a child was born Kansa snatched the baby from Devaki’s and Vasudeva’s hands and killed the child.
The 8th child of Devaki and Vasudeva is born in the jail and this is no other than Krishna or Vishnu himself descended to this earth as soon as he is born all the gates of the prison open the guards fell asleep as if they are not alive then Vasudeva secretly carries the divine infant and crosses Yamuna and ‘Sheshnag’ the divine serpent comes to meet him.
Then he enters a home where Yashoda who was the sister of Vasudeva’s first wife Rohini.
As Vasudev and Devaki were in jail Rohini lived with Yashoda and the husband of Yashoda named ‘Nanda’; Rohini’s two children daughter Subhadra and son Balrama also lived with her.
Everyone was asleep at the night Vasudeva carefully exchanges Yashoda’s infant daughter and leaves his own divine infant with Yashoda and arrives back to the jail with the infant daughter, Vasudeva knew that the infant daughter of Yashoda is no one other than ‘Yogmaya’ who is another form of Ma Durga and he took her purposely with him.
As soon as Vasudeva arrives back to the prison the atmosphere becomes normal of the prison after a while Kansa arrives to the prison villainous intention of killing the divine infant goddess.
Devaki and Vasudeva knew that the child is a goddess and Kansa won’t be able to harm her by a speck, Kansa snatches the infant and tries to kill that baby; but this was his biggest mistake and as soon as he throws the infant on the ground the baby gets converted into her real form which was a four armed divine beautiful goddess in her fierce form who is Yogmaya.
Goddess Yogmaya warns Kansa that ‘’your death is born in your kingdom’’ after this she gets disappeared.
Does Krishna grows up with his foster parents Nanda & Yashoda, half brother and sister Subhadra and Balrama.
Krishna in his childhood is described as a cow herder with a flute and whenever he played the flute all the cows, ‘Gopas’ or the other herders along with him, ‘Gopis’ or the milkmaids ran to listen to the flute.
This is why in childhood is lovingly named ‘Govind’ or ‘Gopal’ and ‘Makhan chor’ (Butter thief); he performed a beautiful divine dance with all the Gopis and Gopas named Rass Leela everyone loved Krishna from their heart but Radha loved him the most who is among the Gopis, both Radha and Krishna loved each other spiritually; Radha is mostly depicted with Krishna standing along his side and Krishna playing flute.
Many legends are associated with Krishna’s childhood- like playfully killing all the demonic powers and demons sent to kill him by Kansa, Krishna lifts the ‘Govardhan Parvat’ which is a mountain in his finger to save people and animals from the disastrous floods and heavy rains where he is described smiling and effortlessly lifting the mountain.
