Is it too Late to Stop Raging Nature???

Is it too Late to Stop Raging Nature???

Natural calamities and disasters are happening everywhere rather worldwide like the storms and tornados in places like Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri; floods occurring in China, Dubai and Kenya; many places are also facing drought like Mexico and many more.

If you see 2021- 2024 there are so many wild fires in huge forests Amazon, California ect.  The result is that all these fires have burnt so many trees, animals and birds and this is happening every year due to excessive heat call the global warming.

Every year there are new volcanic eruptions and they are continuously increasing.

Massive and disastrous earthquakes are striking repeatedly and if the earthquake strikes a costal place it also increases the chances of a tsunami.

Even if we don’t go far away and watch India only there are some many natural calamities and disasters.

Let’s start from Ramban which is a town in Jammu and Kashmir there is a massive sinkhole that has taken place recently breaking the homes of many people and now it’s size is increasing from 7-8cm per day and after this incident took place heavy rainfall is happening which gave rise to landslides but all this is not happening by itself it is manmade because the trees are getting chopped from the hills and this results in landslides as the roots of the tree holds the soil in place.

In Joshimath the sinking of homes still continues to this day and the rate of sinking has increased drastically from the last 20 years.

The Forest fires are increasing every year in the forests of Uttrakhand it is also happening this year but here comes the twist to it this year the fires is not wild it has been ignited by 3-5 people on purpose so just think the cruel mentality of these people.

At this point a question comes to my mind that what mother nature is doing wrong by killing these kind of cruel people or the so called ‘Human Beings’??

Now let’s come to the place which is called the city of lakes or the Techno or IT Hub of India and that is Bangalore is suffering from drought as all the bore wells have dried and people are suffering from water shortage they are going mad for drinking water as well.

The main reason why the bore wells have dried is just because of severe drop in water level and this has happed because of one thing and that is lack of rain water harvesting and ground water recharge as people have done construction over the old lakes by filling concrete over them but these lakes once stored huge amounts of water and helped the soil to retain its water level and the second criteria to this is doing cementing everywhere possible not leaving a single space that has soil in it which results in lack of water absorption and leaving the streets water logged is the rains and drought in summers.

But have we still learnt a lesson from all this as I see majority of the people are in a different world with their smart phones and are least bothered about all this however if a deadly calamity happens they will also suffer the same things like us at that point of the time their smartphones won’t come to save them.

Now mother nature is in full rage as it is already too late for calming her down and it is becoming hard day by day but we still can give it a try by doing things in harmony with her like forestation, rain water harvesting ect.

Otherwise we will also come under the list of organisms gone extinct…
