Have you ever wondered what our lives would be like without fossil fuels? It gives me goosebumps to think about how our lives would be without the quintessential fuels.
Life would be a nightmare without the fuels; it will vanish into thin air at the flick of a button. Our lives become so comfortable within no time. We have to toil so hard if we don’t have these fuels, but we have to be prepared by all means, as it may come on us any time very soon in the future. It’s quite late to think about regenerating these fossil fuels, no matter how hard we try, but we are so used to them that it is unbelievable to live our lives without them. We have to get ourselves equipped with alternative sources and learn how we can live without them. If we cannot adjust to the adversities, then we have to go extinct.
We have exploited enough without giving it a second chance, may it be our greed, population explosion, or some other reason, but the crux of the matter is that we are running short of it and we have to accept it sooner or later. Not just the fuels but also the other sources like air, water, and sunshine are all touching the extremes of parameters, like the sun getting hotter every day, water is in scarcity, leaving us with drought-driven dry rivers, and without water, the desertification of soil is also accelerated beyond our imagination.
Resulting in the declining of flora and fauna, many of the biodiverse landmasses are being converted into sandy deserts. Parallel to this, the air is also getting polluted, not meant for inhaling purposes due to the overuse of fossil fuels, and other industrial pollutants are also responsible for the air pollution. While the liquid pollutants are destroying and polluting the rivers beyond recovery, thus killing drastically the marine animals, potentially hampering the aquatic ecosystem beyond repair.
Not to mention the corals are also getting destroyed beyond repair, which is terribly affecting the marine ecosystem, and all the other amphibians, crustaceans, and marine life that maintain the marine ecological niche are either extinct or on the verge of extinction. Similarly, in the case of the fresh water aquatic ecosystems, they are also getting destroyed due to all man-made pollutants and how they are increasing infinite times every day because of us.
The unscrupulous use of these fossil fuels for our own financial reasons, we have to rely on sustainable forms of natural energies like the sun in the form of solar energy, windmills to be set up in different places to use wind energy, solar power plants, and solar panels that need to be think considered to generate solar-powered energy for our day-to-day use.
Water energy in the form of hydroelectric power generated by turbines and electrical energy must be used for vehicles. As it is, we are lacking behind in replenishing the fossil fuels. It is not now or never; we have already signed it as never. Due to our own reckless usage and also wasting it without even thinking about the future, we also have to be ready to feel the consequences…
