Atma & Parmatma

‘Atma’ or the soul that sits inside our body, in which ‘Parmatma’ or all mighty god stays planted in our soul and the nature all around us. Only two forms of energy know whatever we do or think, also called ‘Karma and Soch’, that is, ‘Atma’ and Parmatma.

‘Atma’ is the energy that contains all our thought processes and consciousness inside it, also called ‘Chetna’. Shree Krishna has said this in Bhagwat Geeta to Arjun: ‘All the possible creatures on this planet have ‘Chetna’ and ‘Atma’ whether it’s a micro-organism, plant, animal, bird, tree, etc. Even a rock also contains Chetna, and I am situated inside all these creatures’ Atma.

Atma can neither be created nor destroyed, and our bodies are just like clothes, and our Atma changes these clothes when we die. In other words, when an organism is dead, the Atma escapes from the body and enters the body of another organism when the creature is born, but the Atma is intact and remains the same; it can’t be destroyed in any way.

This is what Atma is.

‘Parmatma’ is the all mighty supernatural energy that can make the impossible possible and is the creator, preserver, and destroyer of this whole universe. Parmatma, who is living in the Atma of all creatures, but unfortunately for humans, it is becoming harder and harder to recognize this Parmatma, who is all around us and inside us, because this requires living in silence with nature, mental peace, concentration, and meditation. The purpose of chanting a mantra is for concentration and mental peace.

The day a being recognizes the Parmatma, they get free from the cycle of birth and death and attain ‘Moksha’.
For human beings, when they know all this, they start getting up from the materialistic thought process, start living a simple, high-minded life, and start to love much of the solitude in Mother Nature’s and Parmatma’s lap.

It’s just a simple concept: we are born with nothing and will die with nothing. Thus, what’s the point of going mad for saying this is mine, this is yours, this is my house? I will throw all the garbage on another person’s property, sit at home and close all the windows and doors, then stay secure so that nothing can happen to me now. I’m very happy in my orbit.

Let all the calamities that are occurring occur, whether natural or manmade, and I am least bothered. But this is not enough. That is why all the natural calamities that are occurring all over the world are an alert signal for us from both Mother Nature and Parmatma, as nature and Parmatma are one. Sadly, people aren’t getting alert to these signals of a huge calamity that is going to end the majority of mankind, and it doesn’t seem to be too long before that event is going to occur, or the end of this Kalyug and the settlement of Satyug, the golden age again, will be done by Kalki.
